My friend always asks me to do the cards for her families birthday and, as its her birthday on Monday, plus two of her relatives, I needed to make 3 cards for this weekend. This is the first one I've done which is for my friend. All materials used are SU products.

I'm entering the following challenges:

Stampavia - Black, White and one other colour
Cute Card Thursday - Texting Crazy
Dutch Dare - Anything Goes
Daring Cardmakers - Its a girl thing
Fussy and Fancy - Pink and black
The Stamp Man - Take 2 colours

Anniversary card

Well the SU meet on Sunday was a blast, I met a lot of lovely people and tried/watched new techniques. Mind you I needed yesterday to recover as it took it out of me a little but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

So today is the first time I've felt like crafting and, as its my brother in laws wedding anniversary next week, I decided to make their card early and not leave it to the last minute as I usually do...lol

SU items used are: DSP Tea Party, Very Vanilla and Bravo Burgandy cs, Pretty in pink and Prefect plum inks, True Friends and Mr & Mrs stamp sets, plain and scalloped oval punches, Dazzling Diamonds glitter
Own items: Acetate and glue pen.

I was inspired to do this card by joining in these challenges:
Clean and Simple - Sketch
Die Cut Dreams - Acetate
Rosie-D's - Burgandy, Pink and Cream
Anyone for Anya - Be Dazzled

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.

Lots to show....

Well its been quite a busy week for me crafting wise. I've made 30 cards for a SU meeting I'm going to on Sunday, can't wait, I've decorated a bag that my upliner Vicky kindly bought me for the SU convention swaps in November, but its getting used on Sunday, and a 16th birthday card for my niece.

Christmas cards - as you will see I did 10 each of the church scenes and 5 each of the Dasher colours.

SU products were: Stamps sets - Silent Night and Dasher, Brayer,
Inks - Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black and versemark.
CS Whisper White, Orchid Opulence, Lovely Lilac, Basic Black, Groom speciality papers, Always Artichoke and Not Quite Navy.
Real Red and Whisper White grograin ribbon, white gel pen, brayer, black marker pen, heat and stick, dazzling diamonds

Bag for convention:

To decorate the bag I used items from the following kits: hodgepodge kit, pretties kit, rich razzleberry ribbon and vintage vogue stamp set. I adhered the items on with tombow glue.

Finally my nieces card.

I have stamped serveral little flowers in various SU inks using the greenhouse garden set to make the number 16, the patterned paper is from Tea Party, cs used is pink passion, rose red and whisper white and melon mambo ribbon. The sentiment was printed onto whisper white cardstock.

With this card I an joining in the following challanges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Sketch
Stampin B's - Polka dots
One stop Craft Challenge - Monochromatic

Wow what a long post. Thanks for looking

Remembering

Hi, Well I'm still off work and back at the drs today for re-assessment so whilst I've been off I've been making a few cards. My dear friend is having an emotional rollercoaster of a week this week and I wanted to show I was thinking of her and her husband so made her this bright card using True friends and Flight of the butterfly stamp sets.

Thanks for looking and tomorrow I'll be back to show you the 1st birthday card I made for her son :-)

Special Friend

I wanted to let my upliner, Victoria, know that I appreciate all her support and friendship she has shown me since becoming a demo. Not only has she been there for all the silly questions I've asked about SU but also through my recent illness, always at the end of the phone or txt whenever I needed to moan...lol. So, to let her know I valued our friendship, I did her this card.
