Hi,

How's everyone doing, enjoying the April showers!!!!! Today I'm going to show you a card that I've made for a friends birthday and, believe it or not, I'm about a week ahead of myself for once. Mind you it does have to get to Plymouth to a very special friend, and here it is:

The colour combination is Cherry Cobbler, Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder and Very Vanilla c/s, vellum paper and the stamp set is Creative Elements.  I've used the square scallop die to cut out the vellum and then embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.   The Wisteria Wonder card has been stamped all over using the flower from the set in matching ink to create the background.  I have then stamped the flower out again 3 times in Cherry Cobbler ink and cut them out, each time cutting slightly more away to create a 3d flower using dimensionals.

The adhesive used to secure the  vellum to the card was discreetly placed under where the flower was to be situated so that it was hidden.   The Fabulous Foliate wheel was used alongside the wheel guide to ensure I got a straight line as I usually end up going from one corner to the other...lol  I don't tend to use my wheels as much as I should but, as they create wonderful boarders to projects, I might just start using them more :)

Well I hope you like what you've seen today and if you have please leave a comment.

Oh I forgot to remind you that you only have 10days left to order from the spring mini catalogue and, if your order is over £45, earn a free pack of papers.  If you need anything get in touch and I'll gladly put your order through,
Hugs
